I've seen the car at a few HPDE's and such, and really you can't go wrong. He's asking a ridiculously low price as well. Its beautiful and really nicely set up.

This car was originally owned and built by Tony Fegley. It is an awesome car and something i patterned my car after. Super reliable and extremely fast with the right driver. Tony sold the car to Craig Gelston who then went on to compete and destroy with this car. I don't know Larry but my guess is that Larry saw how competitive Craig was with the car an offered him a price he couldn't refuse. I wish i had the car from the start as this is a ridiculous price. I know both Tony and Craig very well and can vouch for them. I'm guessing Larry has taken care of this car. It needs nothing...LG C/O, World Challenge High Downforce body, all the coolers, T1 cage from Phoenix, ARE DrySump, Alcon Brakes, CCW Wheels, what else is there....

Buy it. I bet Tony would buy it back if he had the cash.

Wasserott, all you said is correct. I bought the car from craig gelston who is a friend of mine. I told him when he was ready to sell I would buy. After he won the ARRC in 2006, I bought the car, and race it about 4 times a year. He has serviced it for me. This Car needs nothing, and is a front runner even with me driving as I am a mid-pack driver.

I am hoping to buy/trade for a slower car so that I can learn how to drive fast

This is all true. The car is worth twice this. Larry took extremely
good care of the car, bringing it back to my shop for service after
every race. What it needed, it got. He is a s stand up guy and this
is a fast car. If I didn't have 2 kids and a stay at home wife I would
be driving this sweet ride and not my C4!!!!!!
I can provide service history from 01-06, and written history from 12-06
when he bought it, but he probably has the records himself.
I ran the car in 06 and mowed down everything in my path, including
the Cleveland GP and TCC championship, and the car found its way
onto the cover of sportscar and inside grassroots mag.

Yeah I know. He once passed me on the back straight at Mid Ohio....in the grass....going backwards! I last saw him going by headed for China Beach. I thought....well, I don't need to worry about him anymore. I get to the flag stand and see the blue flag...guess who is right behind me again. I think I have that on video somewhere.

Larry, What are you doing?
This is the car that was under a canopy at Carlisle a couple of years ago and it is an awesome ride. For all who have asked about the Zip/Performance AFX brakes, this car has one of the first sets and was used for extensive testing of the brakes and rotors when Tony owned the car.
Larry, why don't we just slow the car down and then when you are ready light the rocket back up.
Justin

Man I remember this car - I raced against it in (I think) 2004 when Fegley owned it. Jesus was it fast in the upphill esses at VIR. Its was real purty... Im surprised I didnt end up with a sharkmouth after Craig owned it. Craig is crazy. He likes to take the "shoulder" and make a third row on to pass peeps on race start. lol.
