Z06 Alternator.....???

Default Z06 Alternator.....???
2003 Z06...my alternator is noisey (bad bearing?). Anyway, are there any high performance alternatives, i.e. track type alternators available?? Perhaps lighter?

I'm not aware of any "heavy duty" alternators for the C5/Z06 based on my research last year when I was looking at options.

Did you run into any 'light duty' (read: lighter) alternators?

Any automotive electrical repair shops around you? You could have one rebuilt to your specs.
