Default Do stock brake hoses have a "shelf life"?

My stock brake hoses have been in a palstic bag in my spare corvette parts area for about 5 years... Now that I'm not tracking the car I'm considering putting them back on and selling the SS lines when I get fresh calipers.

Might they be dry rotted etc? If I bend them and don't see any cracking etc. would you consider them ok?

****... maybe I shouldn't have storred them outside on the roof of my shed. I thought that'd be the perfect out of the way spot

If you can bend them and do not see any stress cracks in the rubber, they are fine. I would slap them back on, they will be fine for street use. Any one that would track the car is going to replace anyway.
