C6 Rear Sway Bars
C6 Base (15806422) 22mm
C6 Z51 (10339124) 26mm (25.4mm? 1"?)
C6 Z06 (15262804) 26mm (25.4mm? 1"?)
I ordered up a C6Z rear bar to experiment with and had seen people say it was about 28.8mm -- did GM send me a mislabelled Z51 bar? Did they change the bar but keep the same part number? Was my earlier information about it being near 28.8mm wrong?

Here is the info I have on rear bars:
C6 base: 17.5mm
C5 Z06: 23.6mm
C6 Z51: 25.6mm
C6 Z06: 27.9mm
Since the C6Z has so much more rear tire, I can't believe they'd use the same bar for C6Z51 and C6Z.

I hear ya. But I have these physically in my garage, with those part numbers, and with those measurements. I'm sure the C6 base is 22mm (~7/8"), and the C6 Z51 (my stock bar) is 25.4mm (~1"), and the 15262804 FE4 labelled bar definitely measures the same as the Z51 bar that's on the car. I'm thinking that GM screwed up somewhere unless the 28.8mm (maybe 28.575mm or 1 1/8"?) number I was told before is wrong and maybe GM is using a smaller ID (ie. thicker wall) on this rear bar?
If somebody with a C6Z could throw calipers on their rear bar, I'd appreciate it. I've emailed Gene Culley @ GM Parts House where I ordered that bar from...

Glen,
I own a C6 base, C5Z, and C6Z51 bars and they match the published measurements found on the forum. I even just remeasured the base bar and it is 17.5mm, not 22. What year is your base bar from? Mine is a 2006.

Unfortunately the swaybar charts in those threads come from me measuring the various swaybars I have along with data mining the internet/forum. :-(

I'm dropping from 18x11 295/30r18 to 18x10 275/35r18 in the front of my car. I was thinking of trying the C6 Z06 rear bar to keep the handling balance I have now with the C6 Z51 rear bar and the larger front set up.
For years I worked on the "big bar removes grip from the end installed" idea but somebody here beat in to my head that it's the opposite "big bar adds grip to opposite end"...
