I have decided it is time for the corvette to be sold. Another forum member said a car is worth what someone will pay for it so I left it no reserve. If you are looking for a nice race car, well developed and ready to race this is a nice car. It will fit into NASA PTA class and still have 13 points to play with or can move to ST1. The car can also be raced in SCA ITE class or with the TCC on a national level in STO. The item number is 280362135440 and it starts tonight.

For those not watching on ebay. Looks like the car will sell. Since this is a no reserve auction and there is a bid it is selling. I don't want to get too excited since it hasn't finished yet but I'm hoping. I hate to see it go for 10K since I know the history and details in the car but its only worth what someone will pay and if 10K is it then I will at least be happy it is going to be raced again.

Great looking car and I hope the sale goes smooth. Someday hopefully my 86 will look just like that. I dig the wheels your are the only other pair I have seen, I hope I never bend one of mine because I dont think I would ever be able to find a spare.

Somebody got a great buy. I talked to Danny Kellyermeyer and he feels that his car with a 383 can be a winner in the new STO class. I love the thought of an L98 C4 beating the C6 Corvettes. That would shake a few people up - big time.

Well the car sold but as with everything its not that simple. The winning bidder on ebay just was put on work furlow and now is unsure if he can afford it. He asked for a week to secure the funds. There is a second person inline at 10K and we are discussing it now.

I agree the C4 with a L98 stroker would have great HP and torque and would be fast. Also the rules allow better areo, brakes etc. It is a nice class with fast cars.


The ARE wheels are nice, there are not many left out there. I actually have 6 spares, it was 8 but i bent two up. They are not included in the auction but are offered to the winner first. If they dont sell I will post them up here.

I use the ARE wheels and another set of CCW wheels. The offset is slightly different with the ARE wheels sticking out just a little bit more.
