I haven't installed them yet, but they certainly look like works of art. Great design and execution. Make sure you look these over before you make a decision to buy.

I've had both on my car.
Summary:
Pfadt's sleeves are aluminum. This binds to the urethane less than the VB&P's steel sleeves, and is a few pounds lighter. Pfadts also have grooves cut into the inside of the bushings to hold more grease, and in my experience this translates into lubrication lasting much longer.
If there are advantages to the VB&Ps over the Pfadts, I don't know what they are.

The VBP ones are much harder urethane than the prothane from pfadt. I have pfadts on my front uppers. They have quite a bit of slop. Either the cross shafts need more material on the side or the bushings need to be thicker. The pfadts are single piece and need to be pressed in where as the VBP are two piece so they go in a bit easier. I'd say that the VBP have less deflection because of the higher durometer material, but on the rear lowers and front uppers a bit more bind for the same reason. Lube should take care of it.

Look at the sleeves that Pfadt use. On the lower a arms they have a sleeve with a washer attached to the sleeve. That's great, but the other side you install a loose washer. So you have a lot of surface area on one side and hardly any on the other side. Basically just the little round sleeve. Which by the way almost hardly touches anything on your frame. That's because there is a big oval hole for you to adjust your camber or castor. I think you guys that look at it carefully will understand what I'm talking about. This only applies to the lower a arms. The upper ones are okay. VBP uses two piece sleeves with washers attach to them for much better surface area.
Frank talks about a new design from Pfadt. That I have no idea about.

Maybe I have the "newer" Pfadts, but my front uppers didn't have any more slop than my VB&Ps. When bolting down the upper A-arm on the VB&Ps and the Pfadts, I bent the upper wishbones inwards a bit to keep the arm from being able to walk forward and backward on the bushing.

I will be installing them (front upper control arms) on the car tomorrow and testing them at NJMP on the 4th.
I will be able to give you more details then.

well i just ordered some vbp ones this morning since they were doing 20% off and also i figure the t1 uppers would push out eventually also.
so i guess i will see what happens and how they work

Does anyone have any pics of where they put grease zerks in these things? I've got my front suspension apart so I figured I'd add them, but I'm a little wary of weakening the control arms or adding stress risers. Is this fear warranted?
