Default leakdown and compression test numbers?

Anyone know what are good/bad numbers for c5 motors? Mine is a '99 LS1 with roughly 30k miles. I tested my motor and the leak down came in the 11%-16% range. Compression came in at 180-235 range (bank 2 compression test, passenger side, showed much better numbers than bank 1). Keep in mind that I did it on a cold motor (don't currently have radiator).
thanks,
-V

You basically want to see right around 8%. Up to 12% is ok for a higher mileage car. After that it's not good. 16% is a little poor but you also said the car wasn't warm.

If you squirt a little oil down in there you'll know if it's the ring. Sometimes it can be something in the cylinder heads.

Hope this helps,

Mike

It's actually 24% variance. For some reason I thought 180-200 was considered good. It's been some time so I really am not sure. Considering this was all done cold I am ok with my leakdown numbers. The compression test kind of concerns me.
