C4 Accusump Location Idea
Ive had an accusump sitting around for a while and havnt had the time to install it. I am going to do it now, along with some other odds and ends, and had an idea. I know a lot of people move the battery to the compartment behind the pass seat, so I was wondering, without the battery there can I mount the accusump vertical in that location? Will there be enough room to close the hood? Of course the ball valve wont fit but I can put an electric one pretty much anywhere.

I put my 3qt. Moroso on the front of the radiator shroud where the factory airbox was and it fits great... of course that probably isn't helpful for 99% of C4 Vettes.
Vertical where the battery was is a good spot as well. The only reason mine isn't there is that I didn't feel like moving my coil.

Thats a very clever place to put it indeed! Its a shame I have to keep my factory air cleaner.

I remember seeing that in your car. I thought about doing that too but I would rather not have the oil inside 'cause I still drive it on the street and would hate to have oil leak in somewhere.

I don't see a problem at all with it fitting. It would also depend on what size you are planning on putting in. The 3 qt. Moroso that I have looked like it would fit pretty well in there. I don't know how much longer the electric valve and hardware would make it though.

If the A/C has been removed it should fir on the left side near the firewall.
My next choice would be under the rear of the car. Move it as far right as possible to add a little weight to the already light right side.
I don't want hot oil in the car with me.
I don't want to add weight to the left side.
I don't want to add weight to the front (rad. area)
Just my thoughts
