Default ALMS: Awesome leaderboard

watching the alms race limerock and was looking at the leaderboard. I like how you hover over the car number and it shows you the car and the helmets.

Can't wait to see the Vettes next race

Definitely missing the Vettes. The P1 race was pretty good - I was pulling for.... OK I won't do any spoilers for those who recorded it and haven't watched yet.

The ALMS challenge cars are Porsche GT3s. They were brought in to fill up the field. Without those Porsches ALMS would look really silly. They're really desperate for cars.

The most interesting thing is that Ferrari will not be bringing the new F450 out to play in GT2. It seems that everyone is either waiting to see if the ALMS exists next year - or what the rules might actually be.

The ALMS is about to embark on a new set of rules for GT2. That means everyone gets to spend an extra million dollars. And they wonder why no one shows up when they hold a race? Duhhhhhh

No Corvettes on the track, but there was plenty @ the event.

I'll post some pics up later.

BTW stopped by the shop in the infield and bought a new helmet, I was due, and a new fireproof suit.
