I'll be making my way to Colorado for the convention (a little early) - is it OK to sign up when you arrive? I believe we will be driving on I 70 to Denver - is it very far off the beaten path??

thanks!

Hi Donna,
It would be great if you could attend. Yes, you can sign up at the event. No problem. I-70 goes right through Topeka. Did you check out the flyer? You could even make a weekend out of it, or attend what is convenient. Friday night, Saturday and/or Sunday. It is very close to I-70. The map will show that. BTW, Don't confuse Topeka with a real city. Any place is within a mile or two of any where else in Topeka. (got my drift).
Also, MAM at Pacific Junction, IA, (just south of Omaha), has a track day every Friday, named Fast Fridays, if you are interested.

Tom,
Since you are attending, I will just bring my group 3 car so I don't have to compete with you. I should then be in a class of my own. Who else would bring a group 3 car to a low speed autox? I'm sure that traction will be a major issue for me, so I'll at least have an excuse why I am slower than a group 1 car. The parking lot was enlarged and repaved earlier this year.
I may just run on one day, probably Saturday.
Good to see you again.
Paul

I'd like to check out your group 3 car anyway. Have not seen it in person yet.

BTW: I can turn mine into a Group 3 car pretty easily

I'll just have to bring both of them and choose after you register.

Hi, Paul and Tom
Thanks to both of you for the updates! I'd love to get in an event at least 1 day on the trip out - looks like maybe Saturday is the only option right now, but we'll see! hopefully, i'll get to one of these as we make out way thru the Midwest

I know lots of folks travelling to Colorado for convention could be interested - I'll pass it along.
Looking forward to it

What a great group of folks! Thanks for the Kansas hospitality and a fun Saturday, despite the early wet conditions. We had a blast
hope to see some of you all at convention in a week or so
