them for hpde?? wheels are 18x9.5 Could I run these on the front or the rear? Was thinking on sending them to weldcraft to get widen.

I Picked up some ww to use the rears on the front of my c5z for some odd size yoko slicks I picked up.

Worked fine, I know not your specific application but they are strong enough.

I don't know why you would have anyone widen a wheel.

Isn't that trusting an awful lot to the shop that does the work on a wheel that you will trust to over 100 mph?

OEM & aftermarket (race wheels) are tested to stand up to the stresses.

Shops that widen???

2 cents.

they work fine, but I'd just buy C5Z06 rears if you want something wider.

Get C5 18" x 10.5" on all four corners. Easy to get tires and will clear a BBK if you get one.
