Default HPDE at Texas World Speedway

Anybody going to this one on 8/15/09? I'll be there in my '02 Z06. I ran the event here in June on the 2.9 mile course - it was a blast. Can't wait to get back on the track.
Hope some of you other guys will show up. It's lonely fighting off the Porches, Vipers, Ford GT, and Nissan GTR all by myself. I need reinforcements from more Vette guys!

I wish I could, but Im in Alabama now. I used to live in College Station and made it out there every chance I got. Theres usually a good contingent of vettes out there and they are all nice guys of all speeds.

I was there last weekend with NASA. Get ready for heat. Track temp was 122, ambient was 104. May have been hotter in some spots. Sunday was cooler, because of overcast. It threatened rain but never did. Coolshirt was MVP for the weekend, along with oil and trans coolers. Have a good time!

I'd like to be there, as I live like 3 miles away, but no tires, brake pads blah blah blah, excuses excuses excuses...
