Anyone used HPS for a HPDE? I have mostly been using stock pads on my C5 z06 and just wondered if the HPS pads were comparable to the the Stock GM Z06 pads...

They are as good or slightly better than stock Z06 pads. My instructor suggested the HT-10 pads for track use.

Both of those were totally unsuitable for me at Road America. But if your OK with them that's up to you. I've tried some of the HT-10's mentioned and like those, no fade like the HPS or Z06 pads which I consider street only pads.

The AC Delco Stock C5Z pad will be better. IRRC the HPS is a street pad. i used them once for a track weekend, they were down the backing plates at the end of day two. and all the brake dust down the side of my car looked like baby puke

I thought the HP+ were comparable when I tried those but they were harder on the rotors. The HPS is a step down...I would be very careful with those at VIR. Maybe use them in a lower run group in the fall? Heat is the enemy of the pads.

I just got some HT-10 pads for the front and Blacks for the rear. I have not tried them yet but I have an HPDE on the 28th where I will give them a try. I too have heard that HPS and HP+ dont cut it on the track.
