Terry Gough won the 1962 thru 1967 Production Car race at the Monterey Historics last weekend with a 10 lap average equal to 1:42.0! This is in a 1965 smallblock (327) Corvette roadster at legal weight and on treaded tires!

I was running 1:40.7 laps on my 2nd time at Laguna Seca in my C5Z. But I have pfadt coilovers, headers, and R6 tires. I thought the T1 guys were more in the 1:38 range. I'm sure I'm not anywhere near as fast or consistent as those guys.

A 1:42 sounds like a pretty respectable time for an old C2 compared to the T1 cars. Garrett, what times have you run at Laguna?

Jan Magnussen qualified P1 in GT1 at last year's ALMS race at a 1.19.2

You can kick my butt. I can only do about a 1:40 on the game too.
That's what I was thinking. Very impressive.

OK, that said, I was soundly beaten by a lovely lady driver of 95 lbs, running 1:46s, who is 4 years older than me (driving the same Z06)

Eric I ran some pretty consistant 1:49s in that same race with a best lap of 1:48.18. I just couldn't get by Craig Jackson who had a very wide GT350.

ZR1 1:35.8
63Corvette, I ran against you in my Red GT350 from 2005-2008. You always were a gentleman on the track.
In race 8A at Monterey this year my best was a 1:29.0, with a Chevy small block in a 1983 March GTP on vintage correct bias ply slicks.
