Default Ball joints

Searched this forum and didn't find much. Is there any way to service C5 balljoints, particularly the front lowers, without just replacing the whole control arm?

What do you need to do replavce the balljoint? Yes you can swap it out not sure of the detals try a search if no post in it has been a while. Even the 99 oem manual shows it but GM never sold balljoints seperately. Try and see if the part is sold on rockauto.

One ball joint comes loose on you and now you don't trust them anymore .

Since I pressed several out of Mikes broken control arms (to recycle the aluminum - have to save the planet you know) I was wondering if anyone made a replacement.

The Pfadt ones look like a real winner.
