Default C4 guy needs seat, belts, and ??...willow springs

Car is ready for bigger track fun, but the guy at Willow spings are requesting a roll bar with 2" of clearance...I don't have 2" of clearance with the car much less a roll bar. Can y'all post pics of what you are using? I don't mind a roll bar (extra insurance), but I don't want to waste $$$ and effort.

I have decided that six point harness. Any issues with the G-Force brand?

Shoes looking at kevlar (vice nomex or cotton), RJS high tops...thoughts?

I think that the harness will require a new seat. There is a lot of threads for replacement seats, but what should I get for a race day car that has a street life as well?

I run a cheap Momo seat that bolts to the floor at the rear. That will lower you 2-3" versus the stock seat w/ padding and seat tracks.

I am using Corbeau FX1 Pro seats for both street and track. They hold you very well and are comfortable on the street. However they do sit a bit high. I am 6'2" and I had to bolt them to the floor and remove the butt cushion to clear my helmet.

2" of clearance?

I've seen that requirement before, most seem to get a waiver on it though.

I run a 6pt with my stock seats, you run the subelts between the seat back & bottom.
I racing seat with a hole in it would be better

Here's a C5 with stock seats and a 6pt

I have the Kirkey 17" intermediate road race seats, I am 6'0 and have about 1.5"-2" inches of clearance. I ended up designing/making seat brackets to get them lower. I still have about 1" that they could go down in the back before they are all the way on the floor.
