Default Pads for LG G-Stop Wilwood calipers?

I have the LG G-stop (wilwood SL6) front calipers for my C5Z. I'm trying to figure out what size pads I need for these in a Performance Friction 01 pad. I tried asking LG, but they didn't know. Or is anyone using another race pad with these calipers that they are happy with? I tried the hawk dtc-70's when I first bought the kit and they did OK, but I want to try something different. Thanks.

Type 7420 Wilwood H works great... double check with LG that they use the 20mm pad and not the 7416 16mm pad, though. I moved to the Wilwood H pads from PFC 01s in stock calipers. The H and I get along much better, I don't like how the 01s Cf ramps with heat... so simply holding the brakes on causes them to slow more and more without you adding pedal pressure.

That said: http://catalogs.wilwood.com/_pdf/_pa...PadCatalog.pdf

R701-20 seems to be the pad interchange number, or rather, a Raybestos number.

It looks like a Wilwood 7420, Raybestos R701, is a PFC 7751BB (20.4) or Hawk HB101.800BB or Pagid 2555.

And I once asked Cobalt if they'd make a 7420 shape and they said yes, so you have tonnes of options. Of course, double check all the info above. :-)

Carbotech X-12s are around $150 for either width (thickness 16 or 20)

The G Stop Kit uses the 7420 pad. If you want I have a brand new set of 7420H pads I bought from Lou earlier this year. I have them for sale in the C5 parts forum for $200. I moved up to a C6Z so I sold my G Stop calipers and this is the last thing remaining. I would get around 8 track days with a set of these pads. Once hot they do stop the car nicely. Haven't tried any other compounds since I was happy with the Hs and the price I could get them for.

Thanks a lot for all the info . Bill I'm interested in buying those pads. Let me just do a little more reading about my options and I'll let you know. I'm running the cobalt friction xr2's in back on stock brakes and I really like them. I've been using the dtc-70's for over a year (both on stock front brakes and the wilwoods), but they are hard on rotors and I'd like to try something else. Thanks,

Bill.

H's rock grab them from Bill. If you can't sell'em Bill I'll take them for next year if I don't hit the track this year.
