Default Anybody Run with Audi at Barber?

I have been struggling to find events on my weekends off and stumbled across this one. I can't find a schedule or much information besides pricing. I will have done 2 days at Road Atlanta and 3 days at Roebling by then. Has anyone been before or have any info?

I've run with them every year since they started there. The first year I was the only vette. Each year we have more corvettes and corvette instructors. They put on a well run event. The only draw back is if your a novice driver they make you do some parking lot exercises so you'll lose two track sessions.
I'll be there this year but hotel rates suck because of nascar at Talledga this year.

How much track time each day do you get? I don't mind learning car control, but losing two track sessions seems like a lot when the event is going to run $500.

4 20 to 25 minute sessions on saturday you would lose two of those if they have those exercisis and make you do them this year. 4 sessions on Sunday but last year it was open track for the last two hours because of everyone leaving. They did jack the price up alot this year. I wonder why? So far there are 16 registered.

I emailed them to see if they are going to do the parking lot exercise this year. With 3 track events they may not consider you a novice.

Thanks. Let me know what they say about the parking lot stuff or if you have someone I can contact to find out how I would be classified. I have watched videos of that track and it looks pretty cool. I have a friend I can stay with for free which has me even more interested.

Other organizations charge more at Barber too. The cost of renting the track for the weekend is higher than at many other tracks.

The novice group will be doing the parking lot exercises again this year. If you do become a ACNA member there is an event the middle of Nov at VIR and one at Daytona in Dec.

I've run the one at Daytona for the last 2 years, and I'll be here again this Dec 4-5-6. Audi runs a very good event.

At Daytona they have not done any car control exercises last year or the year before.

Barber sounds cheap next to Daytona. The Audi Daytona event is 3 days and this year is up 200 bux from last year to $1,200!!!

Good deal, you're gonna like this place. Most of the vettes park on level 1 near the connecting road but I always get there late and wind up way out in right field on level 1 or up on level 2.

I really want to do Daytona. Just have to figure out how to hide a $1200 cc charge from the wife.

There's a PBOC event Oct 23-24-25. I think Friday the 23rd is racing, and Sat/Sun 24/25 is an HPDE.

The 2 day HPDE is $600 and runs the same Rolex 24 course as the Audi event does. Here's a link to info (scroll down to post# 16 for PBOC info):

Is tech really on Friday at 5pm at the hotel, or am I reading that incorrectly?
