Poetry in motion - RAFTRACER
Most of you probably thought by the subject this would be video of Danny Popp rafting his vette around a track. Sorry to disappoint. But just as impressive is watching Danny take a car and put it on his alignment rack and begin to work his magic. His mechanical mastery of the Corvette is second to none. Like a surgeon carefully slicing into and then carefully relocating organs so he get to the patients ailing area. Then methodically, paying close attention to detail, reconstructs the patient to be better than before.
He's not perfect as none of us are, but when it comes to vettes he is damn close.
Now if we can just get him to hire an asistant, preferrably a well endowed female, who would answer the phone and help him schedule his time so we can all benefit from his expertise and he in turn isn't so overworked.
Thanks for the great set-up and advice yesterday Danny. Looking forward to testing the car on Saturday at Putnam. Hopefully my Silver Sludge, as coined by Slowton, will be the Silver Bullet it once was.

Once you guys reach the level that you are ALL at, you start to lose some of those old skills.
For example, I was working on the front air dam on my 96 today. The job involved not 1 but 2 hammers.
You guys would have been able to do the work of my hammers with some sort of Corvette Jedi mind trick.
