I am usually lower than that, 28ish front 25 rear. That was with 275/40/17 fronts and 315/35/18's. Next event I hope to be on 305/30/18 fronts and 315/35/18 rears. Probably start +1lb on the fronts and see how it goes.

Whenever we run them, we run them low, somewhere around 28 or so in front, 24 to 25 in the rear.

For A6's, we're more than 10 lbs higher.

I ran 28 front 26 rear. I wouldn't run more than 3 lbs differential between front and rear.

caulk your tires and see how much rollover you have.

Do you have a temperature gun?

I rarely run autocross events but I run road courses a lot. Presently I'm using Kumho 710s 305/30/18 front and 315/35/18 rear. I add an extra lb or so in the front tires to help compensate for the C6 51/49 weight distribution ratio.

Again, I'm no autocross expert but 28/25 seems low to me. This past weekend (on a road course) in 100+ degree temps I'd start off with 29 rear 30-31 front and I'd end up at 37-38 lbs hot. In the few autocross events I run I typcially start with similar tire pressures. I've chalked the tires before and haven't had any excessive rollover.

Thanks. Usually on a summer day here in Nor Cal, say 95*, I would start at 28 cold front, and usually after a 50-60 second course see them rise to 32-33lbs. When we used to run at Atwater in 105+ temps, you could get 7-9lbs in 60 seconds.

For most Autox people, the 28ish start is pretty common for the V710's, and they are run lower than the Hoosier A6 by at least a few pounds. TT track people will run them even lower than where we are at, low 20's to start There are a few threads about tire pressures for track use here, and real world pressures tend to be lower than what the manufacturer "recommends". But warranties are not established at a point of max performance for any product, but at a level that minimizes risk and failure.

G'luck
