Default Proof that Danny Popp is a little nuts...

I posted a couple of pictures on the 10/10ths VIR thread, but I think that these deserve a post of their own.

You should have been in the up-hill esses when I was bouncing off the rev-limiter in 4th gear through the middle of them.........Typically scares Jeremy to death.

BA. He definitely made it easy for anybody to follow his line. Check out those skid marks in the 5th and 6th pic.

Yeah, I can't watch that anymore. It's amazing and much too terrifying for me to really enjoy. Cool pics. The smoke off the tires between 4 and 5 was fun. Especially knowing they were Todd's tires

Actually, as I looked into my rearview several times through turns 1, 2, 3 and 4 I kept seeing Danny closer to 90 degrees sideways than 45 degrees AND since he kept gaining on me SIDEWAYS I figured I might oughta give him a little room to pass....

We know that Danny hasn't been wrapped tight for some years now, but he is a nice guy. I don't understand why you guys find it upsetting that he was testing whether or not the friction circle theory still applies.

Somebody has to do the research...

I was just trying to lay down skid marks to slow down Jason and Mark. I thought they would just follow the lines and miss the apex, and give an ol Camaro a chance...

I think Danny is the best driver out there. I like his style. I am trying to emulate it.
