Vette Brake Products tie rod ends! MUCH better than the rest. Get the polycover on them so they dont dry rot like the rubber ones. Lifetime guarenteed!

Default There is a big thread going on

over at www.lateral-g.net in the open discussion section.

In a nut shell, a member went by the factory and no one is home.

It appears they have closed up shop.

I hope for your sake you paid with a credit card or have not sent payment yet.

Best of luck to you

Todd, I would be very interested to know what happenned with you and Fikse (PM me if your willing).

Additionally, a good friend of mine works within a couple of minutes of Fikse, so he's willing to do a drive by this week sometime, I'll post with any results.

I have Fikse profil 10's (my street wheels) on my C5Z that I am extremely happy with.

This looks bad....I'm getting same results. Placed an order for replacement center section about 8 weeks ago - cannot get a response on the status by phone or e-mail. I beleive they charged me on the credit card - going to look into that tomorrow morning.

Someone is also going to check to see what is going on and report back. Thanks !

Found this on an other thread

http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=23135

read post #33 page 4

I've been here since 9am. It's now 10:15 nobody here. Place is dark and the dumpster out back is mostly empty. No mail on the floor though. But it has that eery empty feeling.

I'd be looking for a new wheel supplier if it were me. This doesn't look right. No pallets out back. Nobody on the phones. Not good.

The recon squid.

.
My buddy who works nearby did a drive by and said that the lights are off, its dark and no-one answered. He said there was a sign on the door that said "out to lunch", this was around 10 AM on 10/16/09.

If they have in fact gone under you shouldn't have any problems disputed the charge with your CC company.

I am hoping that its all a misunderstanding and that they are moving their facility. All of the businesses located in that area have been notified by the Corp of Engineers that they are going to get flooded. There are a lot of people reconsidering their manufacturing location based on this information.

Good luck, keep us posted.

I have not been able get in contact with my friend. He is a long term investor, not involved in the operations at all. He was always hoping for a future return, not sure it has worked out.

I drove by as well and it looked dark. While it is true about the potential for a flood (my business is only 2 miles away from Fikse), that shouldn't have any effect right now...

Unlike some of the Florida companies, Fikse actually manufactures all their wheels in house. And their product is second to none. It would be a shame...
