Default In-car Fire Extinguisher, what do most use?

Well my wife is going to take a dump when the bill for the cage and seats hit, so I figured I would throw in a Fire System as well

The car is an HPDE rat with a passenger seat used frequently. I figured I would go with a 10LB system. What agent do most people use Halon, AFFF, Halitron, etc. ?

How many nozzles/zones? Protecting humans is the first priority.

Tell Phoenix there has to be enough room in the car with the cage installed for somebody to lie down and sleep. It may be your home for a while.

Can't find the 4L for $315 there, but six nozzles should cover some area.

Anyone have experience with clean-up of AFFF on an interior or hot engine?

Weird... if I click on the link and then on "Purchase SPA Firefighter AFFF Fire System - 4L Multiflow Steel", it takes you right to the $315 unit?

Never had to clean up thankfully :P

Wonder what the hell I clicked on yesterday, the link on the page works fine.

Still wondering what people out there are using. Are the Halon/Halitron/F36 units as effective as AFFF? If so, then I certainly would want to go that way. It would suck if I had to discharge foam into the cockpit to put out a small engine fire. I know it would be suckier??? with no extinguisher at all.

Bill, got some extra room at your house? I'll need garage space as well. Just park that blue car outside

I have a couple of extra rooms but the blue car stays inside.
