Video makes a great training tool
ONE LOUSY SHIFT!
It's no secret that I've been chasing Steve Burger for the past 3 years since I started this sport. That's part of the reason I put both he and Joan in my car this season. For him to set my car up and teach me.
This was Steve's 12th Crawl and my very 1st. The side-by-side video comparison is pretty neat to watch.
Going into the 6th element, you can hear Steve downshift a 2nd time into 1st gear and then it's game over. While at the event, I simply could not figure out how he was 3 seconds faster. Now I know.
It's pretty amazing how close we stay through the first 5 elements.
