Default Another Katech championship! French GT

This last weekend was the last ever race where the GT1 could run in the French GT Championship. Next season they are only allowing GT3 car in FFSA. So for the last race, we had 4 cars running here with DKR with two (C6.R 002 and C5.R 011), SRT (C6.R 006) and LAA (C6.R 004). The weather was sunny in south of France but the wind was blowing all weekend pretty hard. The Ledenon circuit is a very twisty circuit with a lot of up and down variation.

Coming into this weekend, DKR was leading the Championship in team and driver but the Saleen of Labre was very close in points and could also win the championship. By winning the first race and finishing the second race in 4th, DKR was able to get their first Team and Driver championship with Eric Debard and Olivier Panis. This was also the first time a Corvette team has won the driver and the team Championship in the FFSA Series. Very good finish of the GT1 in France!
