BTW I've never understood the silly disposal fee's when you are mail ordering. One day when I'm down that way, I may drop off all my used up tires at the south GA TR warehouse, since I'm paying my disposal fee's to them.

The manager at my race shop said most dealers stick pretty close to the Hoosier MSRP. I think I paid about the same at the shop as Tire Rack advertised. Had to pay sales tax but didn't have shipping.
I asked my local Discount Tire what they could get them for.
Price was about $60/tire more. They either buy them at retail and mark them up or they make a really good profit on them.

I also got a set of A6's from Race Tire USA earlier this year. Called Lee to order them, got free shipping and they were on a truck direct from Hoosier within 3 days. He even sent me a free t-shirt!

Hoosier hold their dealers on a pretty tight leash
If you discount their tires, then you aren't a dealer for long. Just that simple. That makes it easier for them to hold the profits for the dealers in line and everybody is happy, well everybody but the customers, but that's not the way they see it. It also removes the price pressure from dealers on them, nobody is haggling for a better price or worrying about anybody price cutting on one another.
The profits that Hoosier makes on race tires are huge, but as I've always said,,,,
"Free uncompetitive tires are a $#itty deal"....
Been there and done that, so if you gotta pay to get the best, then you gotta do it.
About all you can do is look for the best deal on shipping, mounting and balancing and call it a day.
