Thanks for all of the messages guys. I'm okay. Nothing $15k won't fix. I know Phoenix Performance will get the pieces all put back together.
Just one of those bad decisions to go on track during last weekend's Noreaster. I wish I could turn back the hands of time.
Thanks again for your concern.

15 is a tough nut but you are basically OK I assume and that is priceless. It happems to the best of the pro car drivers. You have the right place to make it new again!

Why not fly down to Florida for a nice weekend and autocross my Z next weekend, or in December. I know you and Frank G. kicked azz down here a while back. She's very fast.

Thanks for the offer Craig. I miss Florida and would love to come back to Ft. Meyers to play. Frank and I are intructing next weekend and then I'll be traveling in China, Taiwan, Switzerland and Italy for most of November and 1st half of December.
I think I'll just chill out until my repairs are completed and the snow melts, up here.

Gary,
It's an extremely simple lesson. Be very careful with R compound tires on a wet track when the ambient temperature is 41 degrees. A little too much throttle (on the very first corner - Turn 2 at Thunderbolt) when the car is unweighting over a crest can induce a snap spin that can't even be corrected with an immediate full-lock counter steer, even at approximately 60 mph. Also, wet grass is very slippery and guard rails on the inside of turns should have tire walls.
Be careful out there, guys...
