Default So I'm getting ready to order a new Trailer

I'm just about ready to order a new Pace.
I wanted to put before the "experts" and others to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Pace Pursuit 24' with Auto Hauler special
5,000lb torsion axles
AC (yes I plan on sleeping in it)
12volt/120volt lighting two florescent lights on each side
uppper and lower cabinets with external generator door
external 500 watt lights
insulation in walls and ceiling
4,000 lb winch mounted in cabinet
electric tongue jack
I plan on getting a 6500 watt Honda generator. They discontinued their line of water cooled RV units, so I'm going with an air cooled one.

Is there anything else I should really consider if I order this?
I'm about maxed out, but the CFO has given the green light.
(I've been good this year)

Any compelling reason to wait till after new years? (other than property taxes)

Thanks in advance,

John

If you're going to sleep in it, get the fold down cots, a microwave and an awning. Bring enough chairs and beer for me.

good points. I forgot to mention I have upgraded the tires to load range E and i have 2 spare tires spec'd (good catch).
I also have refrigerator, cots, and extras.
I'm not a big beer drinker but I never run out of my favorite Leinenkugel.

Though microwaves are fast, they are not healthy to cook with, do some research (originally I said deadly but my wife read this and corrected me, combined with all the other horrible eating habits in this country sure can contribute but on their own, just not good to use)

------------------------

To bad about the WC generator, I have one, so quiet!!!

------------------------

2 spare trailer tire/wheels

------------------------

ramp door extensions (or whatever they call them) great for lowered cars, big splitters, etc...

------------------------

A nice big bug screen for the loading door for hot summer nights when tired of listening to the generator.

-----------------------

My next trailer will have a roof hatch, ladder and rails so I can sit up top when I want to

-----------------------

Depending on where you live and race, transit through, maybe a gun safe or two

Rick

thanks for the post. I really have to have a white one.
Hallett gets many days 100+ and black is not real popular.
There was another one in SC that I found on racingjunk. I couldn't get the guy to provide any inside or drivers side photos. I'm guessing there was an issue.

White trailers are a must for southern drivers.

Gun Safe? hell that takes too long, One under seat in the cab and one, well with in reach in the trailer

Drivers suit with a CCW pocket would be great.
