Default 4 Stock C5Z Rear-wheels for track?

I've an opportunity to obtain 4x18x10.5 Speedlines for track work, but I'll need to sell the fronts, too. Is this worth it to run 315s all around or should I just stick to two stock sets of wheels with 275/315s?

Is it worth the effort?

Thanks,
TomK

My friend wants to pick up a pair of 18 X 10.5's, so if you need someone to buy 2 of them, PM me.

The 315/35/18s may be a little large for the front. I ran 4 315/30/18s and had a little rubbing on my DRM brake ducts but not as bad as when I ran 315/35/17s all the way around. I also got a little rubbing against the top inside of the right rear inner wheel well liner.

I run a C5Z and a C4, but I run the 18" fronts. I like the 18"s since I'm cheap and it's easy to find scrubs in 18". And if I go BBK I'm already good on clearance. Ed

I've got a set of 2 18"x9.5" chrome C5 Z06 style wheels for sale if you need to go down a size. They are on the C5 parts section.

I just went 18" all around with the OEM rears, currently have 305/30's on the front and it looks like I might have a tiny bit of rub on the outer fender lip (bumpy course). I plan on running 295/30 and 315/30 A6's next year.

Cheap, light, clears BBK's, easier to find scrubs ... I think the OEM rears are a damn good option.

Awesome replies, thanks so much. I don't plan on going to a BBK anytime soon, so that's not an issue, but I'm not interested in dealing with rubs or fitment issues.
I'll probably just go 275/315s on the extra set of stockers I have.
Be good,
TomK

You will need 18's all around if you have a C6 (to clear the calipers) but you can use 17's on the front if you have a C5. 275's are plenty of tire for the front for most people.

C5Z here, no issue running the stock wheels.
