Default FS - Spec Miata race car

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jPtSjNNKlw

This is a race car only, not a street car. 135k miles, 1.6l, 5 speed, rust free, white with blue stripe, gutted interior, full cage with Nascar door bars on both sides, race seat, harnesses, full Spec Miata suspension, upgraded suspension supports front and rear, MazdaSpeed locking differential, spec exhaust. New crate engine/clutch installed several seasons ago. Spare rims, tires, exhaust, hood, suspension parts (bearing hubs, tie rod ends, inner tie rods, ball joints, etc), car cover. I've got log books for NASA and SCCA. Extremely dependable, the original SCCA logbook has been completely filled, working on the second one. Run in SM, SSM and ITA.

$10k or best offer. Can deliver locally.

Why not. Spec Miata is a legit racing series, and maybe there are some racers on the boards?

Go back to waxing your hood.

Thanks for the bumps, I guess. In the future, if you're not interested in buying this car, keep your opinions to yourselves and keep on moving. I don't need your posts gumming up the works. I can bump it myself if necessary.

FWIW I appreciate the post and have seen other non-Corvette track cars posted FS here. As a matter of fact I have a friend who may be interested in this car so I'm glad it showed up.

Why would you click on a link to something you're not interested in?

There might be a few people on this forum interested in buying the car.

I don't see that it makes any difference what kind of car he's selling. He posted it in the appropriate section (it's a race car) to get to the interested parties.

What do you think about the thread someone posted with the video of the Ferrari going out of control? That was neither Corvette nor track related.

Because 90 % of the Corvette Forum members could learn how to drive their waxer if they bought it.

That's a great car if someone wants a cheap way to get on track before moving "UP" to a Corvette. Thanks for posting the car and good luck w/ the sale.

The Spec Miata racing class is the most competitive racing class out there. Take 30+ equal cars and send then out on the track.

I got the chance to drive a Spec Miata this summer and had an absolute blast. Yes, it's totally different than a T1 Corvette, but a ton of fun and you can count on 30+ cars at pretty much any race you go to (around the SE, anyway).

Good luck with the sale, will make somebody a great race car. And yes - if you can drive a Miata fast, you'll go very fast in a Corvette. Every car is a momentum car on the racetrack.

Good luck with the sale. Wish I could afford to do this. Kids and college are messin' with my fun! I know a number of jelly bean pilots who make me work harder for a pass than most Corvettes.

BTW . . . used to live in Ashburn . . . Loudoun's a great place.

The Z06 is now an SCCA ITE/NASA ST2 car.
