Yes, I have a 96 Van Diemen FC. I am also involved in building parts for the new Citation cars.

Did you buy Ambrose's car?

Is this your first formula car? No street car even comes close to what these are capable of.

I'm jealous. There's nothing like the purity of a formula car. If you haven't already found this - apexspeed.com is a great forum/resource.

Wren , How did you guess ? Yes I bought Ambrose's car. 93 Citation. It needs a short block and a dry sump pump. When I pulled the head , all that was in no 3 was a rod and wrist pin. most of the cylinder wall was gone also. But the car fit's like a glove ! You don't get in the car as much as put it on. Can't wait to drive it. I'll post some pics as soon as I get it put together. The car was disassembled when I got it. I am going to loosely put it together to see how it all fits up.
What parts are you making for Citation ? I just missed a sweet deal on a 96 Van Diemen . The monoshock kinda spooked me.

These thing (I am told )corner over 2 G's !!! I have owned a Lotus 61 and a March 86A Indy Lights but never got either car running. They were both basket cases that I turned into rollers and sold. I'm gonna race this one. Apexspeed is where I found it. Great site.

We are doing all of the machined parts for the new cars and arranging for other things to be made.

You should be able to corner in the 2G range without too much trouble. We are seeing braking in the 2.6-2.9 range on the new FB car and cornering in the 2.2-2.5 range.
