Aaron, that was awesome. While I already knew what you looked like, it's nice to put some faces to other names in your organization.

Are you running the tire pressure sensors in your race tires? We run into the exact same issue with my car and have to put the street tires back on to trick the computer into thinking everything is OK.

If you had the sensors on your race wheels, I think that issue would be a non-issue. For me, I simply don't want to buy sensors for 3 sets of race wheels.

Nice promo Aaron. I solved my TPM problem by putting all 4 in my trailer spare tire. It's always near the car and easily tricks the system.

Just ordered your steering wheel adapter to go with the Momo that's on it's way. Car goes for a cage on Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Continued success with your engineering business from a fellow ME and PE.

No. I'm with you and do not want to buy 3 more sets of tire sensors and it still takes a minute to recognize them after a power off. I'm actually not sure if the car will recognize a different set of sensors without the reset tool. I do not want to have to use that every time I switch tires. It is also surprisingly tricky to get a kill switch system to play well with the TPMS. I know there are some solutions, they are just all 'ugly' compared to just turning the damn system off.

GM, are you listening? How about a body controller flash for race cars We will even pay for it. I for one would.

Sounds like a nice market for a racing software geek. But if GM is listening would they please explain why the vette (any vette) doesn't come stock with a front and rear tow hook mounting location, holes in the seats for 5 point harness or inserts that can pop out, oh and how about the TPS shut off and windshield wiper shut off. Little things, not hard to do. The tow points are there somewhere at least on the front for European compliance.

After market kit wouldn't hurt either.
