Best aftermarket seat options for the C5
I am looking to replace the stock seats in my C5 with something more performance oriented. Preferably as close to bolt-in as possible. I dont mind a fixed back seat for daily use.
I have noticed that many aftermarket seats will not fit in C5's. Any recomendations and pics are welcomed. -Thanks

Best advice would be to sit in as many different seats as possible and see what fits your body style. If you can squeeze into them my vote is for the caravaggio race seat. A little on the expensive side, but if you are looking for a true dual purpose seat that allows you to maintain the OEM 3-point seatbelts, all the power seat functions and still be held in place by 6-point harnesses @ track there aren't many other options.

^^^Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot to mention I am on a bit of a budget. Otherwise I would go with Arizen or Carravagio.
I am going to look into the FX1 Pro. Wich Sparco or Racetech seats have you guys specifically used?

Check out the Cobra Monaco also it's same price as FX1 but FIA rated.

If I may add something. Another important reason for trying seats "on" in person is not only that you fit in them, but that the harness holes are positioned properly for your body, I.E. they aren't too low or too high.

I have found that the majority of harness-bars/half-cages/cages do not allow the proper belt angle from the shoulder. I'm 6'4" and need a seat with some high harness holes...but doesn't look like the angle would be safe with most bars.
Which seats have high holes?
Thanks,
TomK

Stay away from any Leather covered seats for the track. Leather gets hot and slipery.
Use only nomex covered seats.
Sparko Sprint seat for an inexpensive seat
