10.5 X 18 Speedline Z Rears Up Front - C5?
Ok, so I'm absolutely certain this has been posted before, and I know people run this set up, but after a few hours of searching using different key words, I give in...
For track purposes only, I'd like to run the factory Speedline rears with 295/35s at all 4 corners on my C5 Z. Is anyone running this arrangement, or have any insight as to how well it works? Any serious rubbing issues up front? Just thinking it would be great to run the same size all around to allow tire rotation and less spare inventory requirements.
Thanks in advance!
Danny G.

I have had a 315/30 A6 and a 305/30 V710 in the front. Both rubbed a bit on the inner fender liner. I plan on running 295/30's next season on the front with 18x10.5 OEM's. I think a 315/30 on a road course loaded up under speed would likely get to the outer fender lip edge and do a little clearance work. I can't confirm this myself with the OEM rim, but I know my buddy on 17X11 CCW's with 315/30's can get to the fender on an AutoX course with 2x the spring rate of OEM.

Thanks for the feedback guys... Considering what I'm hearing about 305s and 315s being run up front, I'm thinking the more square/convex fitment of a 295 on the 10.5 would possibly provide enough clearance to avoid serious rubbing issues.

I run 295's all around and only have rubbing issues on my brake ducts at near full lock. I'm lowered about 1.5" - 2" and they don't hit the fenders but I'm also running -2 degrees of camber and that does make a difference.
My frame rail at the front is 3.5" from the ground and 3.75" at the back.
You will have to adjust front or rear ride height to get your rake back but it is great to be able to rotate tires!
When you go back to street tires you will have a little extra rake but it isn't really visible. It's more important that you have rake for the track.

I'm running all stock at the moment and will likely continue to do so for the upcoming season, so maybe I'll just drop the front as much as possible and give 295/30s on 10.5s at all corners a shot! Thanks for the input guys.
