Great, so now there are 4 classes.... and how will this help bring people into the series? I highly doubt that BIG teams will go down a class, to TC2 or GTS. Although I'd assume the GTS rules might come REALLY close to ST2 rules (or at least thats what I hope).

should be interesting to see in 2010, but they are trying to reduce costs. Hell, I'd say you cant have tube framed cars, do Away with CF bodywork, no sequentials, and other stuff like that would just about 1/2 the cost of a car.

I only count 3: GT, GTS and Touring. I like Touring going down to showroom stock style cars. And I like that GTS gives T1 cars a Pro series to run... Ingle can see if SCCA Pro will give his C6 a weight break. :-) Reminds me a bit of the GT-1 and TransAm crossover. And GT stays GT.

you forgot tc2... tc2 has actually already run with the TC cars in whatever the last race of their season is.

They removed TC1, the more prepared cars, now run with GTS. TC2, the less prepared cars, are now TC. So, GTS appears to contain less prepared sports cars, and more prepared touring cars. TC is showroom stock-ish touring cars. And GT remains the big dogs.
