Default Better late than Never #2...NASA VIR July ST1 in-car video

More videos loaded, this one from the NASA July Thunder race @ VIR.

This one is from my car with the new side exit exhaust the audio is awesome..

Conditions were 93 deg. , running on A6's so we were just going fast enough to maintain, 550+rearwheel in these temperatures requires some restraint to keep tires on the car. We ran 54's just before this in TT, fastest lap on this video is a low 57 I believe...

Enjoy

Default Man, could'ja pick it up a bit?

Man, awesome vids! Couldn't believe it took only a lap and a half to start lapping the back markers! And, like you said, the exhaust note is a thing of beauty.

Thanks for sharing, and have a Merry Christmas!

After watching both of these vids, I have a couple of questions:

1. was there anyone in your class that ever got close to you?
2. was your car as planted as it seems in the video? The only time I ever saw it get out of line was after the race was over and you did your celebratory "drift" corner. The rest of the time it just seemed like it was glued.

Thanks again for sharing, and have a good one,
Mike

COOL.. Looked like everyone else was in slomo mode!
Curious how you did your side exaust, did you run both out the right side over the floorpan or the C6R way? Been pondering this for awhile for my car

Thanks,

Joe Woodhead

Thanks for posting a great video. I still think your most exciting video (highest level of intensity) was of the rain race at Mid Ohio!!! I think you were on A6s.
