Default C6Z Trailering Question

Need a little help......Those of you trailering a C6Z, where do you get the t-handled tie-down anchors that slip into the slots in the frame? Is that the best way to go? Anybody have a set for sale? I have years of experience hauling around race cars and C4 Corvettes, just not the C6Z. Any help is appreciated! Merry Christmas!!

If you do a search on this section of the forum you will get a lot of info I use purchased mine from Mac's custom straps. I'm using a single T hook to the car and a twisted hook to the D ring on the bed of the trailer. Hope this helps and merry X-mas

I don't remember how much I paid but I got mine from NAPA. They ordered them in and I got them next-day without paying shipping. You will find them much easier than tying down a C4, almost as easy as a car with towing hooks. Ed

Merry Christmas Randy,
Let's just say because of some good words from you and some creative trading I may have worked a deal on an 07 Z06. I will keep you posted, don't want to jinx the deal. Surely your not already wanting me to bring it to DRM are you? Hope your not buried in the snow up there............
Later,
Scott

Using the shipping slots isn't much different than using the shipping slots on the C4. Just that the C5/6 slots are outboard and more easily reached than the front C4 slots.

The T Hooks work great. I have been using an anchor shackle with each T Hook. This helps change the angle on the T hook when it is in the frame so the strap end doesn't rub against the frame.

or you can get the straps with the flat snap hook. They make them with either flat or twisted snap hooks.

Another place to get the T-hooks, I found. The lowest price I've seen, 4 T-hooks and shipping to me comes out to $32.96. I guess shipping would vary depending on location. http://www.truckntow.com/pc-11282-147164-t-hook.aspx
