As far as the hardcard for instructors, I have one also. Mid Atlantic is enforcing it. I will be down at NCCAR instructing as well. We will be roughing it at the track with the camper.
Bob
PS, Wally, Nancy has requested you as her instructor.

If I were NASA, I'd issue a card based on all of your qualifications: One card for just being a member, i.e. DE's etc. An endorsement for instructors. And another endorsement for racers.
This would be just like just like a driver's license.
The way it is now, I have to show 2 cards sometimes to register at an event.

Hell, Wally & Ross got all that aero installed and set the track on fire, so no one else had a chance in ST2. Glad I saved my money.
BTW, I got you a present for your birthday. I'll give it to you at the next event.

Here is the latest
This looks like it is coming together nicely. Still no metion of fuel. Better plan on brining your own high octane stuff just to be safe. 93 will be radily available down the street.

I suppose apex markers will be pylons as well, in place of curbing at this point.

For those of your going to NCCAR this weekend, here are two videos of the track, one from a Formula Ford and another from an MX-5 (Miata) taken by Stan Vann (a local auto-xer and hillclimber) during his track testing sessions:
Caldwell FF
Miata
Please keep in mind that NCCAR was built for testing a single car at a time, not racing, so don't be too bold this coming weekend!
