Aftermarket e-brake options?
On my street/track car I have my stock C4 J55 calipers relocated to the rear with Wilwoods on the front. Therefore no e-brake. This was just fine in Illinois but apparently I can't get the car registered in Texas where I recently moved without a functioning e-brake.
I'm trying to figure out a way to get an e-brake installed that doesn't involve going back to stock brakes
I did a search but couldn't find anything useful. I found a few e-brake calipers but the ones I saw were all for small rotors (less than 1" thick).
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Mark, long time no see.
Wilwood has a separate parking brake kit.
As far as inspection, some are by the book and some are liberal.
Ive had the Wilwood parking brake kit for approx 10 years, but never installed it. Its on my to do list. Its never been an issue during an inspection. Find the right people and go to them every year.

Used to live in TX, great state to live in.
Galveston is a great city right on the water.
The mechanical brake from Wilwood is probably your best bet.
I used one on an electric car I built in college for the same purpose.

Thanks guys! I must not have looked in the right place in Wilwood's catalog -- glad they have something. Argonaut, thanks for the link, the calipers in that thread look pretty reasonable.
Mike, you're right, my first try will be finding a shop that lets me slide but if they cost too much or I can't find one I'll go for the e-brake. If you decide to sell your wilwood e-brake kit let me know
