Here are some pics from todays NATIONAL. Congrats to Steve Schmidt for winning the race, and to Oli who captured the pole.

There pics are untouched....I just wanted to post them up quickly.

Congrats guys and thanks for sharing! It's still cold and snowy here in Ohio so this gives us something to look forward too soon.

It is with much embarrassment and regret that I must say I wanted that piece of track Ryan was on really bad. Unfortunately my lust for that choice ACS real estate caused Ryan to spin while he was running in 2nd about a car length back from Steve Schmidt. My apologies to Ryan.

As you can see from some of the photos, we were running real close all day.

While I did not win, that Kudos goes to some consistently great driving by #46 Steve Schmidt, I did set a new T1 track record of 1:46.605.

No headers for me, yet.

I was running new 2-piece rotors from AFX and DBA/KNS this weekend as part of my experimentation on different set-us. I also went to the Doug Rippie stainless steel pistons, but no aftermarket calipers, yet.

In the National, 12 of my 16 laps were under my previous best race lap of 1:47.9xx (June, 2009), with my new best being 1:46.9xx. I think I am really coming to grips with the banking. As you can see, I need some work in the infield.

Same order. Slower overall times. Ryan ripped off fast lap of 1:47.4xx very late in the race...lap 14 of 15, I think. Oli and I had fast laps of 1:48.0xx.
