VIR 1/30-1/31 (Track Club USA) - Anyone going
Is anyone signed up to run this weekend with TrackClub USA? The weather on Saturday looks horrid but it "might" warm up enough on Sunday.
I was going the following weekend with THSCC but was toying with the idea of seeing if I could run Sunday this week.
Gotta try out these new Hoosiers, race seats and harness!

Yes, signed up but weather does not look good. It was nice that they ran the event with 48 hour and bad weather clause. Those Hoosiers will never warm up in 35 to 40 temps. I think they will post wed. nite or thur. if they will have event. I live 100 miles north of track and they are calling for ice/rain mix Sat.

Yeah, it's not looking favorable right now.
Why don't you go ahead and sign up for the following weekend with THSCC? They have a weather clause too, but it only covers freezing rain and snow. I dont think it covers regular old rain.

You are correct, the THSCC weather clause does not cover rain only frozen precipitation. We run rain or shine.
If you do run with THSCC, stop by and say hello. I will be one of the two guys working grid all weekend long. My red C5Z06 will most likely be parked right at the grid exit.

I am signed up but it doesn't look good. It is asking a lot for track time this time of year, but it was a no lose deal. Hopefully we can get it in! Look me up if we make it. I will be the red Z06 #24.

I think I will wait untill feb. and go to Ga. and run with the PCA guys. It will it least be 60 at RR. Jan. at VIR is just to much of a chance without a 48 hour clause. Its a shame that NASA and the PCA event are the same weekend.
