Default Open Track Day at Mid-Ohio on May 24th

3 ***** Racing is hosting an open track day at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Monday, May 24th. This event is open to all vehicle makes and levels of experience.

Drivers will be broken into 4 groups based on experience level and vehicle type. Run sessions will be 20 minutes. There will be a classroom session in the morning for beginnger and novice drivers. Also, we will pair up the beginners with an experienced driver for the first run session of the day to give the beginner an idea of what it's like being on the track. Instructors will be available.

Passengers will be allowed at this event. Convertibles must have a roll bar that is completely above the helmet.

Cost of the event is $235 and includes lunch and drinks. There is an early registration price of $200 if paid by February 14.

A number of us will be camping outside of gate 1 the night before, so feel free to stop by and have a beverage. The gates open at 7, and the track goes hot at 8.

Let me know if you have questions. To sign up, please go to 3ballsracing.com.

Thanks
Ken

I will be glad to help you out as long as I am not traveling for work. Can let you know as it gets closer. I am only 40 minutes from the track and can help instruct or whatever you need.

PM me if you have any questions.

If you are interested, I can make myself and my car available. I would use the time to sort out my new car, and during "downtime" I can help as an instructor (if you want me).

A resume item: I currrently hold the T1 Club Course record.

I will vouch for David and the record!

Second, I unofficially hold the pro course T1 record. SCCA hasn't updated it in years.

So far, there are 19 people signed up for Mid-Ohio. Don't forget, the early registration price is only good until February 14. It is already shaping up to be a pretty good group with a lot of variety.

If you have questions, please let me know.

Thanks
Ken
