Default Brembo 355 will not fit inside my Dymag wheels

Phelp, my Dymag wheels have a 410millimeter inside diameter.
As far as i can measure Brembo needs 424MM

So i need to move Caliper inn 7 mm

Any idea if this is possible ?

Or if there is any other Front Brake kit that will fit ?

Tia

Sorry, don't have a solution for your problem... but Brembo's caliper clearance measurements are readily available on their website.
The "C" measurement for that kit is 210mm + 3mm additional clearance between caliper and wheel spokes
That's a total of 426mm for the inner wheel diameter

Hey Rune - Dymag are very nice wheels indeed!
I wanted some myself, but unfortunately I was just too late to get a set.

Could you not use a wheel spacer to bring the wheel out?

Did Dymag supply you with the wrong offset?

The only people I know of that use Dymag as standard are Callaway - surely they should have a solution for your problem?

in order to move the caliper in, you must move the rotor with it. Moving the rotor 7mm will cause it to collide with the lower ball joint.

It is not offset, it is inner dia of the drum.

Thanks, so i was off by 2 mm

Louis
Then i sure hope there are brakes 355 with less of the mass of caliper sticking out. will look into AP racing and see

Surfnsun
Think Callaway use AP racing, they might also use 19 inch wheel, but i will look into it.

thanks

Those callaway brakes are just relabeled stoptechs. The callaway race cars do not use those. I'm pretty sure they use ap for the race program, but getting any race parts from callaway is pretty much impossible unless you own one their race cars.

If you would like to purchase one of our ex-racecars, let me know.

As far as what seems to be your discount of our branding of brake components - one thing is for sure, we sell parts that not only fit correctly, they work in severe-duty applications such as racing.

Well it seems to go over the top to buy a second racecar to get brakes on the one i build now
But if you have a front brake setup that will fit under my Dymags, i am interested in details

I didn't discount anything. I use stoptechs myself. As a matter of fact stoptech was one of my sponsers at one time. They make a great product. I simply pionted out the truth. The callaway website leads those who may not know to believe those are the same brakes used at lemans.

I was under the same impression that the Callaway brakes for sale on their site were rebadged Stoptechs. I too run Stoptechs so there is no disrespect intended. Is this not the case Chris?

Stoptech developed the carbon/ceramic brake setup for callaway, as they have the rights to it. We are one of the larger stoptech supporters/vendors/retailers, and if we want to buy them, we must go thru callaway.

Nothing wrong with that. Steve Ruiz and the boys at stoptech put a lot of effort into the brakes and Im sure callaway paid to make it happen.

Would a Stoptech ST60 kit not fit? Their template shows that it should fit within 400mm

http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/ch...80-2670-00.pdf

Stoptech makes very good stuff!
