Air pressure for Toyo R888
What is a good cold pressure for track use, I used 32Front 30Rear last outing, hot got up to 38 front. thinking of trying a higher cold pressure,
anyone have experience with the R compound Toyo's?

cold pressure is not a great benchmark, more of a starting point as your driving style and track/weather conditions can introduce a lot of variation.
i ended up keeping mine at about 40 hot (c5z). they wore fine but the fronts heat cycled out to the point where the car started having a lot of understeer after 6-7 events to the point where it became too slow to continue using them so I threw them out with a fair amount of material left.
i went back to NT01s as they are a little easier to manage in terms of pressures and wear and seem to stay more consistent as they accumulate heat cycles.

I kept mine at ambient, since I drove on them as little as possible. Get some better tires man.
Sorry, cheap shot. Higher was better when I ran them, 32 cold was what I think I ran.

Remember that the alignment/rake/etc they recommend is for a Spec Miata. I got my R888's from Ron@AIM and he told me to end at 40psi hot *minimum* ... I've been starting at 36/34 cold for daily driving, and that's my starting pressure for the first track session of the day, then I just keep an eye on them and aim for 42-45psi hot.
FWIW, I tried running my normal 30/28 or 32/30 on my first set of R888s that came on my CCWs and it was a night & day difference after I talked to Ron@AIM and bumped the pressures...
