Default Harness for Stock Seats in a C6 Z06

Has anyone cut holes in their stock seats for the Harness belts? My car is mostly street driven and I don't HPDE enough to invest in race seats. I prefer to keep the stock seats. I have an upholsterer in my area that can cut the seats and finish them to look like a factory job, so he says. Should I ? Anyone else out there had this done?

I know everybody will bite my head off, but I've been running the TeamTech JetPilot harness with the stock C6 seats without an issue. Passthroughs would be better, but it works just fine for HPDEs the way I've been doing it. And I'm only 5'7" and it would probably work even better for taller folks.

I like you researched the idea.
By the time you pay someone to "do it right" i found you could get a corbeau w seat sliders for less. PM me if you want $$$$ and place to buy new
