Default Seat Time

Does anyone have experience with Seat Time at Roebling Road? I've done two HPDEs in the past (2000 w/ a 1999 BMW M Coupe and 2007 w/ a 2007 Corvette C6 coupe, both at Road Atlanta). I presently have a 2009 Z06 and want to continue my education. The prices seem reasonable and Roebling Road is only 2.5 hrs from my home. Good experience or not?

Jon K. at Seat-Time is great... Laid back easy going track time. Usually 3 run groups but depends on turn-out.

First time I ever had to put gas in the car in the middle of the day was with Seat Time. Met some great folks with diverse driving experience, and learned a ton from talking to Jon and some of the other really great drivers that come to his events. Jon's a great coach even if you're experienced try to get him in the car with you at some point.

Good folks, well-run events, and defintely a ton of "seat time".

Just got back from CMP in South Carolina last night at about 10pm.
Next event is at Road Atlanta March 12-14 with NASA SE. Registration is still open.

BTW - they were giving away free track weekends for your first NASA event. Not sure if that's still going, but it's worth looking into.

I couldn't find anything on the website about a free weekend. I was previously a member of NASA but my membership expired. I'm certainly going to consider 13-14 Mar. I'll have to check with the boss.

Cool. Let me know if you make it. Maybe you can request me as your instructor if they make you have one. Don't worry if they do. You'll move up quickly.

The boss approves. I do want an instructor and I guess I'll probably be in HPDE 1. It would be awesome if you were my instructor.

PM me after you register. We'll see if we can get it worked out with Julie at NASA.

I sent a message to Jim Pantas about the free track days and he says all of those spots have been taken, but he did say this:

Have him contact us at nasaseinfo (at) yahoo (dot) com - we can still give him a deep discount...

I had a Nirvana experience with Seattime. One of my sessions I did 6 laps with no other cars in sight. Just me and the track.

I'll be at RR with seattime April 2-3 and again Aug 28-29. Might not be many Vettes, so be sure to say hi to the ones you do see.

That's because they were well warned about your "offs" and decided not to risk life and limb being out there with you....

Looks like a done deal. Here's the response I got back from Julie:

OK, I have forwarded this to the Chief Instructor.
We do our best to match up requests.

thanks.

Nope. And I sold my factory belt retractors so I can't even bolt the OE seat in.
Greg will do fine though. I doubt he'll need to ride along since he's been there before.
