Default Racing Numbers

Ok so I gathered magnetic decals will not work due to our cars being made of fiberglass.

What does every one do for racing numbers besides painters tape?

Do you just use vinyls and dispose of them after every race/

Knew I was missing something lmao.

What does every1 do for numbers? I dont really want to use tape everytime I hit the track.

Does every one just buy vinyls and trash them after each use.

I've used the same vinyl numbers for 3 years. The crew I run with usually puts up with me sticking them on the front window and the sides of the hatch glass...

davidfarmer makes them. I have never used them, but other people seem to like them. I might order some, since I am getting tired of cutting out numbers from Contact Shelf Liners.

I have them if you want to order some. I've not used them myself, but with care I'm told they hold up well. Shelf Liner works fine too, but you have to usually order solid colors online.

I got my reusable vinyl numbers here:

http://www.soloperformance.com/Track...bers_c_50.html

Got them in early last year and used them on both of my cars for every autocross and track event except the ones where the group provides the numbers. Most of the track events I attend the groups provide the numbers.

David made the numbers I run on my car. That is silver vinyl on top of low-tack, removable black vinyl cut slightly larger to give it an outline look.

I like the low-tack vinyl option mentioned above. I have numbers made by David waiting for a track event that does not get called due to snow.

These guys make them too and they're the ones I have. My apologies if they need to be a board vendor to be posted:

I also make numbers for cars. I have been looking into the reusable numbers and have found a few choices for the vinyl. Not sure exactly what i am going to go with yet. I have mainly been selling them around the Indiana NCCC events and at convention. If anybody is interested shoot me a PM.

If you use a cling-on sticker, make sure to tape the leading and trailing edges down. It wil flap in the wind, and scratch the car.
