Default New Active Control Wing from Breathless Performance in production

Inspired by racing legends such as Jim Hall of Chaparral fame, the team developed products to put active aero in the hands of racers and car enthusiasts around the world.

Born in a Wind Tunnel
The Dynamic Wing™ was born in a wind tunnel at MIT. Countless hours of refinement – through Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) modeling – led to its signature high downforce, low drag design. While we were working on the 180mph S varient, Budez contacted us to build the ultimate super car wing, the 200+ mph S2. Tailor made for the Budez GT-R, and optimized through full car CFD

Hot new wing in action.

Wow, good job. Any chance you guys have any sort of comparison between your wing and LG/GMs GT2 wing?

Pro's/Cons of each maybe with data to back up?

We did all the data testing at Homestead this past weekend and will have all the data done in about one week.

Yes the active wings do work better then a fixed wing. They drop down to reduce drag at straightaways pitch up on braking and have there own program for cornering by G force.

You can always call me for detailed info.

Give us about one week to get the info imputed from our track mate.

What would be interesting would be test against other wings in the market place. That seems like a better way to compare. Don't get me wrong, those numbers are impressive, just like to see how they stake up against the competition.

Pretty slick - seems like a nice implementation of an idea that I've heard tossed around for a long time.

When does the matching self-adjusting front splitter come out?

Pretty slick,

illegal in most sanctioned racing, but for HPDE I'm surprised no one has done it before

Actually we can run it in NASA, PBOC and FARA in the races.

Very cool

But not legal for NASA ST1/ST2 which is where it would really be helpful, you could run it in SU though. Kinda tough to get a Vette to hang with Radials and stock cars.

I cannot find where it is not legal for ST. Can you ellaborate?
Only aero rule I see is wing can be no higher than 8" above roofline.

I have read no active aero before but I don't see it in the 2010 rules maybe they changed it?

Let me know if you need someone to test that puppy

I could have sworn that NASA said you couldn't have movable aerodynamic devices, weather it be a sucker fan or an adjustable wing but you guys are correct.
Right from the TTS/TTU rules:
2) Aerodynamic modifications are unrestricted, except that a rear wing (or rear spoiler
for wagon-style bodies), may not exceed a height of eight (8) inches above the
roofline (or OEM windshield height for convertibles).
I'm mistaken sorry, great product

I remember Derek Whitis was testing something like this on his Nissan GT-R at the One Lap last year and wished someone would make one for the Vette's.

can't compete with this.

Seriously though, I don't see how much the split in the wing can benefit. The mounts are pretty close together, so while I understand you are trying to load the unloaded side of the chassis, I think it would still be of more benefit overall to increase downforce symmetrically.

race competition will tell the story.

So how much is all this end up costing?

it's a nice piece but I bet it's 5 to 7 grand..

I would like to test it to see how the mid to late apex stability is vs my current setup. It would realyl suck to have the yaw sensor in the unit flake out in a high speed sweeper corner.
