i tore the lower ball joint boot attempting to get it out to press in the a arm bushings.
I marked the camber position. the lower a arm is out.

Its as though the existing boot is attached with the ball joint. do you have to take a razor blade and cut it off flush with the bottom?

then fill the VBP 31508 new boot w grease and slide over and you are good?

There is a wire clip around the base of the boot most likely

yep a wire retainer clip holding the rubber boot on

the part # i bought works great.
