GM is DOOMED!!!!
As Dilbert would say, "we're Doomed!!!'
Here is GM's latest "City car"

OK, the best part is that it has a drivetrain and configuration based on.... (Drum roll please) THE SEGWAY!!!!
Right, as if anybody couldn't figure the dynamics under braking of a vehicle with a wheelbase of ZERO!!!!
The Segway was stupid, but this is even better. I am in utter disbelief that anyone at GM would even get involved with a concept as dumb as this. If this is the result of our money that was used to bail out GM it was a waste.
Even better, the thing has a name in Chinese, translated it's called the Laugh...
OK, you got me, I'm LAUGHING MY @$$ off....
The only one who probably isn't laughing is Dean Kamen, well, maybe he's laughing, but all the way to the bank....

Exactly what the Left wants. Liberals are 20% of the population....so, I guess there is a 20% market share - potentially. Get hit in it and they'll bury you in it.

So let's see..... if you want to stop you have to accelerate forward so that the weight can shift aft and as the thing is falling backwards, THEN you can stop without rolling over forward... Might work at walking speed, but it's a stupid idea in a larger vehicle moving at anything above a walking pace.
I guess that you want to keep the new concept people happy and let them do "out of the box" design concepts, but this is simply a waste of time, money and energy.

Autoblog.com had numerous pictures of them today.
This is our tax dollars at work. I'm afraid it's just the beginning of what's coming from Goverment Motors. This past weekend they gave us so called healthcare, that nobody wanted. Don't be surprised if they decide to give us cars that nobody wants. Oh, wait a minute, weren't they the ones telling us that the problem with the US auto industry was that they were building all those SUVs and pick-ups that no one wanted (and dealers couldn't could keep on their lots, before the gas went up). I guess we all really want GM EN-Vs, we just don't no it.
